Lasik-laser surgery is performed for the treatment of hyperopia, myopia and astigmatism.
Lasik – Excimer laser treatment method, a thin layer on the upper surface of the cornea is cut, the cover is removed and under the surface of the cornea excimer laser applied to the refractive error in the eye (Myopia, Hyperopia, Astigmatism) is corrected. This method is done with drop anesthesia and is not painful.In this operation, no needles or stitches are performed. Severe pain, burning, stinging and watering happens for 2-3 days after surgery.The important thing in the excimer laser treatment is to decide whether the eye is suitable for surgery or not before surgery.Therefore, pre-operative examination and examinations are important.In the examination, the eye numbers of the patient are determined; the corneal thickness is measured and the corneal map is removed and a comprehensive eye examination is performed.Eye tension is measured, tear test is performed and by expanding the pupil the anterior segment and the retina layer is controlled by biomicroscopic examination. If any of these examinations do not reveal any pathological findings, surgery decision is taken.

In addition to lasik-excimer laser, Femtosecond lasers are widely used as microkeratom in laser treatment.

Femtolasik method is made with Femtosecond laser without flap blade.
Femtosecond laser rays form the planned diameter, thickness and depth and the incision in the direction. Thus, the thin cornea, small eye, allows the flap incision to be made safely in eyes that have undergone previous surgery.

Briefly known as the FAKO method. In cataract surgeries performed with phacoemulsification, FAKO method, an incision between 2-3 mm is made into the retina and this incision is entered.No anesthesia is applied, eyes  are numbed with drops. Viscoelastic gel is used for easy removal of the eye lens from the other side of the eye and the cataract lens is absorbed by fragmentation by a device emitting ultrasonic sound waves.When the absorption of the natural eye lens is completed, it can be folded and replaced with a new artificial lens.
